Dr Hamed Taherdoost is a Full Professor and Chair of RSAC at University Canada West, founder of Hamta Business Corporation, and Senior Technical Consultant at Q Minded | Quark Minded Technology. He has 20+ years in industry and academia, specializing in R&D, digital transformation, cybersecurity, blockchain, AI, technology acceptance, and research methods.

Ioan is a Professor in Social Dimensions of Environment and Change in the Department of Environment and Geography at the University of York. He has a background in both the sciences and social sciences and with a passion on learning how we can support beneficial transformations and overcome a human-nature separation. He is known internationally for his work on resilience, transformation, regenerative systems, and ecocentric ways of being and doing. Ioan has over 85 highly regarded peer reviewed research publications with projects that have been conducted on five continents working at all levels, from the Governor of Louisiana and his senior staff to illiterate community leaders in Bangladesh and in remote areas of the South Pacific. Many of his projects have involved facilitating, coaching and training groups, leaders and organisations to work through complexity and strategically support systemic change with outcomes that go well beyond just improving a status quo. He is a co-founder of TransformationsCommunity.org that helps connect and support researchers and practitioners working at the interface of systemic and transformational change.
