Practical online courses for researchers and research professionals, covering skills across research, evaluation, engagement and teaching.

How self-paced works

Work through the course on your own schedule

All modules are available from the start, with no live sessions or fixed weekly timetable. Your progress is saved, so you can stop and return whenever you need to.

  1. STEP 1

    Start when it suits you

Once your enrolment is confirmed, you decide when to begin and how quickly to work through the course.

  2. STEP 2

    Work through manageable modules

Follow instructional videos, examples, readings and activities at a pace that fits around your other work.

  3. STEP 3

Apply it to your own work

Use exercises and templates to apply what you are learning to your own research, project or professional context.

  4. STEP 4

    Finish with practical outputs

Depending on the course, you will develop or improve something you can use in your work, such as a plan, set of questions or evaluation approach.
